Jet lag, subzero temperatures and man-sized snowdrifts. Where am I? I wake in a strange bed in a house I used to call home, wondering why I hear the purr of central heating and the sound of little boys running around the house instead of the yellow finches that bedecked the tree outside my window in Japan. Kansas. What do you have in store for me? I feel small. Powerless. Overwhelmed and underwhelmed at the same time. Maybe reality is slowly setting in. Maybe I'm on the brink of some meltdown. Or maybe I'm just tired. Yeah, a nap might help. Decompress, Suz. Let yourself adjust. Breathe. It'll be ok.

happy for you, and pretty sad, too. I feel like its the end of an era. Sure love you guys. You're great. I need to talk with you again. I miss our talks. Good luck with the decompression, pal.
I'm so happy you guys got there safely. Don't be afraid to take a few days to decompress, for sure. You don't have to be back to serious business just yet.
I imagine this is a really difficult adjustment for you. Good luck and you'll totally make it through. Big changes are hard but exciting. I hope great things are in store for you here in the states. I can tell you did a great job in Japan and left a great impression and made great friends. I'm glad our "replacements" had a better experience than I did!
Don't worry, take some time to relax. Everything always works out! And let me know if you need anything! Don't forget, I love you!
